Republic of Korea have again proven that they were unbeatable even if Chinese Taipei gave their strong performance at the men’s team archery finals held at Yumenoshima Park today 26 July.
Teen archer KIM Je Deok, KIM Woojin and OH Jinhyek dominated the field with X points, bringing the Chinese Taipei team DENG Yu-Cheng, TANG Chih-Chun and WEI Chun-Heng – to fold to second place.
Four of the last five Olympic titles have been won by Republic of Korea. Since 2000, only Italy in London 2012 broke their winning streak.
Meanwhile FURUKAWA Takaharu, KAWATA Yuki and MUTO Hiroki led Team Japan for an upset victory to win the bronze medal match against the Netherlands.
